Gabrielle Scawthorn
Originally from Australia, Gabrielle trained at NIDA and has since studied with The Atlantic Theatre Company (US). She is currently touring in The Confessions by Alexander Zeldin which will have a season at The National Theatre, London in late 2023. Gabrielle also writes, performs and produces sketch comedy with I’m With Stupid; their work has been featured on ABC, ABC2, Funny or Die and The Big Smoke.
Gabrielle directed the musical Death Suits You (Camden Fringe Festival - OFFEST Nomination, VAULT Festival Show of the Week, Edinburgh Spirit of the fringe Award) and co-wrote the play 1&Only (2020 VAULT Festival). She is also a sought after workshop facilitator and acting coach.
She is currently the host of the Back From Reality podcast, exploring the world of reality television and the impact that it has on the lives of its participants. The play she developed from this podcast Realing received a workshop at the National Theatre Studio in 2022.
Gabrielle currently moves between London and Sydney.
